A scene from a typical Friday night at the Bier Markt: lots of over lip-glossed women, fresh from a hard day at the local ad agency, taking the pretending-to-be-waiting-for-someone stance. On the other end of the gender poles we have the over eager, not-so-available, bachelors looking for Mrs. Right-Now.The bar is absolutely jam packed with these, and penty of other folks, on the prowl.

However, this being said, it's a great place for a good time; they serve up 150 different brews from 24 different countries, with a strong Belgian influence. Say bye-bye to wings and nachos, and sink your teeth into some wild boar sausage, and the ultimate Bier Markt specialty, shoe string fries with mayonnaise.

All in all a great place to put back a few pints and enjoy the wildlife. If you're lucky enough, you'll catch a night when they have a live band performing, and you'll really get to submerge yourself in the madness which is the Bier Markt.
